How it works

From booking to pickup, without a single piece of tape

Here's exactly what to expect when you rent bins from MoverBins.

  1. Step 1

    Book online in 2 minutes

    Choose a package by home size, add extras like wardrobe boxes or a hand truck, and pick your delivery day: free on our Thursday route, or any other day with SOS delivery.

  2. Step 2

    We deliver your bins

    On delivery day we drop clean bins, dollies, labels and zip ties at your door. You don't need to be home. Just tell us where to leave them.

  3. Step 3

    Pack without tape

    Fill the bins, close the attached lids and stack them on the dollies. Empty bins nest together, so they barely take up space while you pack.

  4. Step 4

    Move on your schedule

    Use your own truck, a rental or hired movers. Bins stack evenly, roll on dollies and don't crush. You have 14 days, and can add more.

  5. Step 5

    Unpack and stack

    Unpack at your new place, then stack the empty bins with the lids closed. Need more time? Add a week by text.

  6. Step 6

    We pick them up

    On your Thursday pickup day we collect everything from your new home. No breaking down boxes. No recycling run.

Common questions

How does renting moving bins work?
Pick a package and a delivery date. We drop the bins and dollies at your door, you pack and move on your own schedule, and we pick everything up from your new place on the Thursday route after 14 days.
How big are the bins?
Each bin is about 27 × 17 × 12 inches, roughly the size of a large cardboard moving box. The lid is attached, so there's nothing to tape and nothing to lose. Empty bins nest inside each other, so they take up very little room.
Are the bins clean?
Yes. Every bin is washed, sanitized, dried and inspected after every rental before it goes out again. See our Clean Promise page for the full process.
Is delivery really free?
Yes, on our Thursday route. We batch deliveries and pickups onto one route day each week, which keeps prices low. Delivery to your current home and pickup from your new home are both free on Thursdays anywhere in our Memphis and Shelby County service area.
What if I need bins on a different day?
Choose any other day, including weekends, for SOS delivery. It's $49, or free when your order is $300 or more before tax. Pickups still happen on the Thursday route.
Can I choose exactly how many bins I need?
Yes. Pick "Custom" when booking and choose 10 to 150 bins, how many dollies you want, and 1 to 8 weeks. The price updates as you go.
What if I need the bins longer?
Add an extra week at checkout, or text us anytime during your rental. Extra weeks are a flat price, not a penalty.
Can I keep some bins?
Yes. Near the end of your rental we'll offer to sell you any bins you want to keep for $28 each. They're great for garage and attic storage.
What if a bin is lost or damaged?
Normal wear is on us. Bins that are lost or badly damaged are charged at $35 each to the card on file. The details are in the rental agreement.
Is sales tax included in your prices?
No. Prices are shown before tax. Shelby County sales tax is added at checkout.
Do I need to be home for delivery and pickup?
No. Tell us where to leave the bins (porch, garage, leasing office) and where to collect them. Just stack them with the lids closed on pickup day.
Do you move my furniture too?
No, we're not a moving company. We supply the bins and gear so packing and moving is faster, whether you move yourself or hire movers.
